Robert Johnson's When You Got a Good Friend and Woody Guthrie's Ain't Got No Home in This World Anymore as well as tunes from the late 1800's and five brand new compositions by Christopher James carry you through work, war, hope and love.

James' debut album was recorded in an intense 2 day session. The songs, all James originals, combine the sounds of Chicago, Mississippi and Memphis. The band, featuring guitar, sax, harmonica, trumpet, trombone, bass and drums, recorded “live” in the studio giving the album a freshness and energy reminiscent of classic Muddy Waters and Buddy Guy.
